S400screw size?

What is the size of the screws needed to mount the S400 motor using the faceplate holes? 2.5MM?

The correct size is 2.6mm but they are not widely available. 2.5mm will work.

Some folks use 4-40s which are much easier to obtain at LHS, but Hobby Lobby stocks and sells the correct metric's.:)

Nonsense... these 2.6mm screws are easily avialble for almost no money at any reasonably stocked Electronics supply store.

Most hardware stores , such as True Value, have a section for small nuts, bolts and other odds and ends. They usually have metric screws of that size.
