Anyone know where to order 3-row right-angle pin headers. Like that pictured below, but with 3 rows instead of 2. Like you might use on a receiver with horizontal pins for plugging your servos into.

Thanks,

Try searching this forum... the same question has been asked three or four times before

Here's one thread

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=379280&page=2&pp=15&highlight=pin+header
seems to have several links to several suppliers inc some free samples !

None of the links in the other threads actually went to what I'm looking for. I requested a price quote from Samtec, but I was hoping there was somewhere like digikey where I could just order a few.

You obviiously need glasses :)

From a post on the second page

was digging through digikey for something and found a nice 3 row angled header that should do the job if those samples don't pan out. part # A1275-ND

I looked at that. It is a shrouded connector. Not what I'm looking for.

That'll teach me not to check it out first :o

A bit more searching and I came across

Availble from http://www.westfield.co.uk/B2B/tx/c21.htm Not sure if they do the right-angle ones, but may be worth sending them an e-mail

Aha! Played around with the westfield link and found this:

Now if I could find these in the US.

A bandsaw would fix the digikey shrouded connector pretty quickly for prototyping, though.

True, but should my prototype end up as a product, I like to use parts with a good source, so I try to design with easier to get components.

Just tried to order a few from digikey, but it's out of stock with no backorder - meaning they probably won't get more, I guess. :(

Hmm. I'd need a bit more than that. I'm thinking for prototype work I'll just use a dual row right angle and plug in my servos sideways.

You can find dual row right angle wherever you want !!!

I was saying they only sent me two SAMPLES.

oh, I thought you meant they'd only sent enough to plug in 2 servos - 2 rows.
You mean they sent 2 strips.

I requested pricing/sample info on that part number 9 days ago and they still haven't responded.

I've been there once about a year ago. If you happen to be in there, it would be great if you could check on the 3-row headers.

Thanks,
