Does anyone have an opinion on what range of wing loading works for an indooor pattern plane to fly smoothly at a constant speed?
Are we looking at 3 oz/ft for Biplanes and 4 oz/ft for monoplanes?

My new plane for the ETOC sequence is at 1.78oz/ft^2.

My latest bipe is 2.2 oz/ft^2, it could be lighter if I used magnet wire for the servos and pull/pull instead of pushrods.

Jerry, do the perforations do anything?

Draganfly,

To be honest, I am not sure yet. I have an identical model built that I need to install the equipment in that does not have the cut outs. After I fly both then I will know more, hopefully. It does fly very slowly and still has good handling which is very important to me since the site that I have available for practice is very small with a low ceiling.

Malves,

Sorry, no plans at this time. The micro version will be introduced at Toledo booth 102 this weekend, hopefully the kit will be available from Bob Selman Designs soon. I am not sure if this size will be kitted or not yet.
