Here's (http://www.rcuvideos.com/item/62MVG6KRVC3JT9FH) a vid of the fray on Saturday at WF '06. Also includes a few of Surfimp's incredible bungee launches. My video editing skills aren't that great but I hope you enjoy the vid anyway. Fun weekend with the weasel-fanatics...

What a great video !! And I like the music, no rap! OK, how did you get that 5 minutes of video squeezed down to 8.8 mb? I hope you aren't using a Mac and can provide a simple solution for us non computer professionals using PCs.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
DS,
I'm using an older program called Screenblast Movie Studio by Sony. I believe the latest version is marketed under the name "Vegas," still owned by Sony I think. The program is pretty simple but like anything else, you'll have to invest a little time to learn how to use it. Connect your camera to the USB on the computer and open the software. Capture the video from the camera on to your hard drive and edit. The editing functions are fairly simple and I suppose I could have done a much better job if I spent a little more time on it. You can save the video at number of different size/quality settings. This one was saved at the 256k setting. The video quality at this setting is good but certainly not DVD quality and the audio is fair to good.
Here's a link (http://cgi.ebay.com/Screenblast-Movie-Studio-3-0_W0QQitemZ7228918494QQcategoryZ51344QQssPageNameZ WDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) to the product I'm currently using. It looks like they can be found fairly cheap on ebay.

Edit: I should mention that this is the basic program. If you're looking for a full-house program they run about $300+. However, this one works great for vids of the kids and of my RC addictions.

what!?!? that's absolutely ridiculous how many planes there are in the air!!!
there should be an event where everyone gets as close to each other as possible, and closes their eyes for 3 sec... then tries to figure out which one they are...

The Weasel is a kit manufactured by Richter RC. Check it out at the site above. Tons of fun! Can't believe I waited this long to try one out. I maidened mine at the WeaselFest '06 last weekend. Do a search for "Weasel" or "Weasel Pro" and you'll find some good threads concerning this great little kit.
