I once looked into one of the cheapo RC Planes using twin motor steering.
As I recall it used a very simple method of "or-ing" the signals using a quad or gate IC.
The motor sees the average sum of the signals.
Hope this helps....
Good Luck!

This is the easy way out with good control.
with 2 esc's they work well.

Okay Bruce
This is it!!! http://speedwing.net/minitwin_250_assembly_instructions.pdf
Near the end is a page on vectoring , be sure to disconect the power lead (red wire from esc input to rx)from the second esc to the rx ch (or to the v-tail if you use one)like they say or you will burn out your rx ch and esc like I did when I was given the wrong advice to just use the v-tail without dropping the one power wire
You can use ether the rudder ch or the aileron ch for left and right , depending on which stick you would like to use , works great when finally done right
I got this information graciously from Rodger @ speedwing , PM me or him if you have any questions , he is a great guy and finally solved this mystery for me after a long quest and bad advice
