Hallo, I am from Czech Republic. I would ask you all modelars, how to buy some product from USA shops. The second question is how is possible that product in USA Shops is much more cheaper than in middle Europa. Thank you for your answer. :)

In czech language: Jak kupuje laciné zboží z Ameriky, je na to někde nějakej návod a kolik se platí třeba za poštovný? :o

I think it is not difficult to buy from USA.

However, some merchants does not prefer to deal with oversea buyers.

If you need help on this matter, please let me know.

Yes, it may be. That is why there are trading companies all over the world.

Hi Ray, I know GWS product in Czech republic, but I thing that dealers has a big extra tax. For example servo NARO PRO, 13 g cost 15 dolars. I think that this is a high price for this type of servos.

To buy from USA usually is more expensive because of the transport cost and the duty taxes. Here in Spain in most of the cases we can avoid the taxes if the total cost of the order is below 100€, but I don’t know if this trick is valid for the Czech Republic.

I’ve bought from Hobby Lobby and Tower with out any problem, but only a few times where there is something that I need and I can’t find here.

What would be very nice is to buy from Czech Republic because the prices are cheaper than the shops in Spain and you have some product that is not possible to buy here but I don’t know any online Czech shop in English. I used to buy Czech products in Aircraft World but they are changing everything for the Corean Hyperion.

I have recently bought an Ion Pro from JP Models (Josef Palacek) directly contacting him by e-mail.
I just made a banking transfer and that was all.

Regards.

By the way, as Gonsos says, Tower Hobbies works fine.

Taking in account discounts, super saver club bonuses and current dollar rate exchange, when you are forced to pay custom taxes and VAT the final price is about the same as buying here, so the bet is worthwhile.
