Hi, I live in Lawrence, and was wondering if you guys knew of a hobby
shop in the KC area that stocks some of the bigger heli kits (Trex,
Logo, Raptor, Swift, etc.). The HobbyTown guys on Metcalf looked at
me like I was crazy when I asked them about anything bigger than the
E-Flite Blade series...
Thanks!

You might check with Northland Hobbies in Claycomo. Mo. They carry a lot of Heli stuff. Also Hobby Haven on Metcalf carries Heli gear also.

Did Charlie's in Raytown have anything? I called but they weren't open yet, and I didn't get a chance to call them back. Let me know if I can help w/anything else. Power system recommendations, esc settings, etc. I'm more than happy to help.

No, I didn't call Charlie's yet, I will tomorrow. Although the trip to Raytown would be a long one on my lunch break (I work at about 130th & Metcalf in Overland Park). :)

Charlie's carries the Blade CP and CX and a fairly complete set of replacement parts.

Went by Hobby Haven on Metcalf today to pick up some parts for my Blade CX and they had a couple different Raptor models and lots of stocked spare parts for the Raptor. Might be worth me doing a Raptor electric conversion if I can get the parts locally.
