I mostly fly indoor R/C here in California. I used to fly in Mishor Adumim years ago, but that's no longer practical :=( I'm coming for a family visit soon, and I'd like to introduce my nephew who lives in Jerusalem to R/C planes.
Where should I take him while I'm in Israel?
(here are some of my planes if you're interested http://www.lib.aero/~ari/rc/)

Are you looking for indoor type R/C places, or any kind?

Indoor would be nice - I didn't know that there were any indoor venues in Israel.
I was asking about mainstream outdoor R/C.

As far as I know, they're still flying where you used to fly.
There are many other sites, but I'm not sure about how close to Jerusalem.
Regarding indoor, there is some occaisional activity, which is published in local forums. I havn't seen anything recently.

Thanks. Do you know what days they fly at Mishor Adumim? Just Saturdays? Also, it doesn't have to be very close to Jerusalem, I can drive :=)

I don't know what days they fly, but I assume the weekend.
If you're going to be around on the 28th, there are at least two R/C events I know of.
I have marked the approximate location on the map.
1. General R/C free flying and some competitions.
2. Electric only planes and gliders.

Do you want to show him fuel planes or electric?
actually you show him both! in Rehovot (not to far from Jerusalem), there are especially fuel planes, but also a couple of electric ones (glider mostly)

Photon,
I'll be visiting my son in Jerusalem next week and may be able to get away for a while on the 28 of this month. Do you have any more information on the two events that you mentioned?
