Google is an excellent web search engine. Keying in "ornithopter" produces 7580 listings e.g. http://indev.hypermart.net/os.html

An ornithopter is a craft that flys by flapping its wings. Check the thread below that says pictures, or look at http://www.jgrc.biz/video/BC%20Park%20Hawk.WMV for a video.

Interesting. I suppose they use a lot of power to stay airborne? I have seen a few free flight ornithopters, come to think of it.

Actually, they do not use that much power. On a 720ma cell they run about 8-10 minutes. That is probably somewhere in the 5-7 amp range. I do not feel like doing the math.. :-)
