Looks to blow a do-able 224* + SW. It will be cold but not as cold as farther north in the Sierras.
John Buxton and I are planning to meet there in the morning after I get released from LAX to pick up my daughter from college. She wanted me to drive her to meet up with her boyfriend and family(from the same college) and I said, "no", I'm not spending your sping break driving all over the state so you can see the guy you see every day in Eastern Washington. Come visit with me when I'm not doing hot laps on the dark side, watch me crash, enjoy a silent drive home together as I steam about my crashed JW. Wait!! it's a JW and virtually indestructible. :p :p Wasn't that cool? It went so fast I couldn't keep up with it. Celebration time...............................
I digress.
So, who is chomping at the bit to fly in the rain? Rain? Are the roads all-weather?

YAHOO DICTIONARY: Search Results. We did not find results for "chomping".

chomping? non comprend. American slang?

Anyway, chomping or not chomping, are you going to brave rain and cold winds?

You must be really hooked now. Don't worry about the road. Rain will not be heavy, shower maybe.

Chomping: 1. biting down hard; as in chewing on something hard,
2. Working the mouth muscles in urgent impatience,
"Chomping at the bit" is an old western term for anyone or horse that is pacing around in agitation while wiating for the signal to go. Often with many false starts bourne of frustration. It derives from the habit of horses that are eager to go, start to tug on the bit, dance around, and toss their heads with impatience due to being held in check by the rider.

Like I said, I'm gonna be down in the area already so, I may as well drive by and at least check it out.

Am I a hard father to deny my daughter the side trip to see her boyfriend in a "non-school" environment? It's only for a couple days(without us there). :D Now I've gotten a call from her mother (divorced) saying that she is o.k. with that. HUH!??? She was the one that insisted that her precious daughter come home because she missed her so much. I need some backbone here guys. The way I figure it is, if I paid for the airfare, she can just get in, sit down, hold on, and shut up.
Rant over.
