This summer I am going to make my first plane. My fan is going to be inside the fuseluge. I will be huking this up to a very powerful electric motor(s). but I can not find a fan that will do what i want (12 blades 170-190mm) and it would be hard to make it. does anyone know where can i get on of these.
I would like to use a type of fan for my plane. but I am not sure if it is a good idea. I would like to make the fan where it is in the shape of a cylinder. the blade will be on the outer part of the cylinder. this allows for a larger surface area but a smaller diameter. this will allow me to have less air ressitance. will this be a good one to do
