Had a strange problem, none of the helis would not start up. I switched the smoke switch on the top right and the helis started up. wierd. I have public 430 and the new expansion pack 1

I found out by trying again it controls the motor. No bug I guess I just never switched that switch before while I was trying to fly a Heli.

The back right switch is the Throttle Hold switch. Most Futaba helicopter radios default the hold switch there. The JR radios move it one switch further back.

In my case the motor turns on and off via that switch. I am a aerobatic plane guy and just trying to fly a helie. Man it isn't easy.

no it idles it with that switch. awsome for practicing autos
