I had an opportunaty to attend AOFC (All Oyaji Flying Club) meeting at Ojima this Sunday. Full 20 people brought their works (nearly 100 planes??) AOFC is a virtual 'club' who enjoys high quality modle planes.

Weather was perfect and all enjoyed flights and talk!

These are 'Alkas' Ohashi-san's scratches. Largest one is old Hinode kit.
まずはアルカス大橋さんの機体。大きいのはヒノデブランドのスピットファイヤだそうです。

Hi Ssatoru San,

Would you let know that if some of these airplanes besides of "Alkas'", "Ohashi-San's" scale ones were scratch built?

Thank you,

Chen

Hello Chen,

Yes, I would say more than half planes at the event is scratch built. FA-200 Aero Subaru in post #4 is a good example. It is beautifully made with flaps, complete with wing tip lights. In these posts, only Condore, Sedcution is built from kit, and two Hyperions, Jet Impact and Tamayans' are ARF. Rest are scratch built!

I had a chance to talk with a gentleman who is a well known scale model builder. He says he is considering electric power for his next work.
