Although I have not visited any, there are few large stores I know of.

Largest in the center of Osaka? Easy to reach by train.

Thank you for the information, this morning I've been to Super Rajikon Hobby shop. Its 4 train stations away from our hotel.
They have lots of stuffs there, From Airplanes(gas and electric), to Helis, boats and cars.
If you dont have enough cash in hand, using credit card is okay, but with at least Y10,000 worth of purchase, Plus 5% charged on top.

Just bring Cash. They have good price.

I have been to Super Rajikon in Osaka as well. Great place. Found some neat scale sail plane kits. They have a good selection of stuff.

Super Rajikon is located between Nipponbashi and Tanamachi 9 chome subway stations. There is a large temple across the street. If you follow the map links on their site you can find them with no problem.

Pictures of the Osaka Model Center. Unfortunately this store was closed the day I was there. I'm told the note on the door says they will be closed for a short period of time then re-open.

The store is a short walk from the Tanamachi subway line Sekime-Takadono station stop T-15.
