Hi there People:
Looking for information on 23mm. hubs. I'm wanting to convert my old
Thunder Tiger Mirage Vspec into a truggy. Seems like the people that
sell parts can't tell me much, I'm wondering if I have to change the
carriers front and back as well.

Not to discourage you, but...
Why do you need 23mm for a Truggy..when there are as many if not more
choices available for the 17mm it already has?

Well I'm only going by what my LHS told me for the rims. I've only seen
the narrow buggy wheels/rims at 17mm. Maybe I need to dig deeper into
this..

They're mostly RallyX though, he needs truck tyres and wheels! Of which the
choice of 17mm is very limited.

A few off the top of my head...
Ofna Dish (Blazer) Full Offset
Ofna 3 Spoke MT Splits (Dominator) Full Offset
Imex Romulin
Imex Pluto
Choose your MT tire!.....
Also...
Ofna Titan (jumbo/extra wide)
XTM Mammoth (40 series -These would probably scrub the chassis on a V-Spec)
HPI Nubz (Stadium style)
HPI Savage X......

I can vouch personally for the IMEX Romulin wheels. I have them in the
brushed chrome with HPI Dirt Bonz installed on my Mayhem ST truggy. 0.25"
offset which makes them the perfect truggy wheel.

No Problem.
Just remember with MT or oversized wheels and tires...
Your turning radius will be much wider.
You will need a high torque steering servo.
Make sure they don't scrub.
You may need/want to change your gear ratios (clutch bell/spur gear)...
