Has anyone recently made the GWS Tiger Moth 400? And have you had problems with the aileron control rods?
I just got 3 TM400 kits and I've made 2 of them, both for friends, mine is still in the box. During the build I found that if you cut the ailerons as per the grooves in the foam, your aileron control rods fall short. You have to push the rods out of the slot almost to the point where they will abut against the fuselage when it gets screwed on. It's a dicey situation. I talked to cometravi about it, he's flying the same plane and he said he didn't have that problem, but all 3 of my kits have short aileron control rods.
Have any of you had similar problems? I'll post pictures of where I have my rods set tomorrow.
