I have a question for you guys. Is it O.K. to run standard servos for most my control surfaces but run a digital servo on my rudder? I have a 73" QQ Yak and and it calls for only one servo on the rudder and I would like to put a hitec 5955 on it but I will be running JR 125 mg sport servos on all the rest of the plane. Other than pulling a lot more amperage is there any other down side to this kind of setup?
Thanks

Hi theedge540
I am not an expert in servos, but i did never read or heard about problems mixing analogic servos with digitals.
I am building a Ventus 2c, 4 metres span, and I shall have a single digital for the elevator, while all other servos will be analogic.
My 0.1 cent.
Happy flights!

I depends on friction free plus stiffness in servo linkages and enough battery capacity.
