Optic 6.....anyone here using one?

I went to Ricks this afternoon and bought a Optic 6 w/spectra module. :D Getting ready to put on a pot of coffee and do some "users manual" reading!

Me, Gary, Rob, Christopher, and Michael have Optics. I think mine and Gary's are the only ones with Spectra modules. They are great radios. Gary and I stepped up from our Flash 5's and love the Optics.

You might want to hit Hitec's website or the Hitec forum here...seems like there's some updated documentation out there for the Optic.

My brother (Michael) and myself have Optics with Spectra modules. It was our first radios so I really don't have anything to compare it to. But I absolutely love it. The manual really wasn't that bad. But like Andy said, I remember some updated stuff floating around here on RC Groups. I think I have it at work. If so I will post a link.

Does this Tx operate a 4 servo wing? I couldn't tell if the Crow function operates 4 servos?

Page 37 is where they talk about crow mixing. I glanced at it and looking at the diagrams, I don't see how that could be done with only two servos...gotta work with 4 I'd say.

What about this issue of "don't use model 1" position in the tranny? Has anyone had any issues with this? Is there a place to find out what the latest FIRMWARE version is? I can't find it on Hitec's website.
