Hi everyone,
Welcome to our very own regional forum. Hopefully if we make this forum active and popular enough, we will have our own flag among the ones on the top left.
Let me start with a "Show us your planes" kind of thread.
Here are some of my GWS warbirds.

Thank you for your encouragement. There is a huge base of RC fliers in India. The only disappointing part is that we have no common forum to share our thoughts, ideas and innovations, given the huge ethnic diversity of our country. We do have regional competitions and these are extremely popular. We have competetions in all sections, glow flying, gas flying , turbines, helis, electrics etc. but I'm not sure if we have had any teams going abroad for competetions. I will definitely keep you informed about future events in India via this forum and if you would like to come to participate here, we would be delighted to extend a formal invitation to you and your friends.

Hi Georges. A lot of our fliers start with CL flying and then move on to full RC flying. Not too sure about F3D, but I'll ask around and let you know about events and details.

Doc, I read your thread on the A10 and all the things you have been experiencing, I am in the middle of setting up an A10 and wanted to share some thoughts with you from Australia :))
You are running 2 ESC's right? and you have been getting a little motor boom, the motors running very slightly out of sync with each other.
The motors I am planning to use are 2030 14A 3400Kv, with a 15c 1500Mah 3s lipo pack. I was going to use two 20amp ESC's but this dual control problem has been nagging at me, yet I dont have enough knowledge or info yet on the results of using just one. I am going to pick up a 36amp Blue Arrow ESC, 45amp peak for 60s. I calculated roughly that these motors in the EDF55's will turn at 28,000rpm under load and pull 14 amps, this is absolutely flat out, way more than needed to fly the plane.
If any of you guys has a big ESC lying around, i would love to hear your opinions of using it in your A10 to run both motors, and whether it improves the flight and smoothness of the fans, mine is a little way off flying yet! :))
Cheers!

Hi mocca, great to have you here in our regional forum.
I did not have a higher amperage ESC lying around, so I stripped the gear from my Sonic Liner setup, which was running two outrunners on dual ESCs and put that in the A-10. To be completely honest, I'm pretty clueless about current, watts, and the like myself and I rely on Ravi (cometravi) for advice. I'll give him a call and have him surf over here to answer your queries. He's the one that told me to go with dual ESCs. Something to do with one ESC sensing a lower voltage and shutting off one motor or something. But more info from him. It's the middle of the night here, so you can expect to see him around here sometime later, much later  . Best of luck with your A-10. If you have some build questions, THOSE I can answer.
