View Full Version : Antennae Wrap?

The fuselage of the ParkHawk just happens to be perfect for wrapping the antennae to shorten it. But will the graphite interfere with the antennae reception? See attached picture for a depiction of the idea.

You might consider the Azarr micro antenna. (http://www.azarr.com/antennas.htm)

Ifxmnfly, I used a base-loaded antenna w/ GWS-R4P as shown here : http://www.uoguelph.ca/~antoon/gadgets/flywire.htm on my ParkHawk. The fuselage is glass not carbon. I have my antenna in direct contact with it. I have flown to pretty high altitudes with no glitches.
