Looks like somebody got worried about F3D safety. Italians have suspended their national championships. Looks like FAI/CIAM is going to talk about F3D safety.

Does anybody have any insights?

I do not fly pylon myself. I am awed when I see a fast plane but, honestly, also a bit uneasy.

the main title link with some info was this one

SOMEBODY CAN HELP F3D RACING?

Unless you are wired in close up to the decicion making machine that makes F3d and F5d rules no way to know if this is just some local italian politics or a pan european thing that wiill get all the rules changed

I suspect it is a Italian spaggeti job that wont spread past this table

Could be the club cant fly thier slow scale GWS red baron slow stick when pylons in the air because thier cheapo crappo radios are splatering every other freqency and the fact the Italian government sold the RC radio freqency 35mghz to a paging company and so italians have to use any frequency in thier area that from 72mhz 41 mghz etc all unlicenced
but then they got 200 pirate TV station in rome alone most of them live strip shows
with TV like that who needs pylon racing
