The first order of the Power-line Hobbies 330S are in :D .
This is a 27% scale plane designed for 50cc size engines.
This is a ARF in a color scheme I used off one of my old planes.
This is a real nice ARF with good quality hardware and good covering.
This first order is only 45 planes and Power-line Hobbies is offering a special intro price per my request for this kit.
The kits will be ready for shipment in about 3 weeks as there was some things on this first production run that they didn't get totally correct. Per my request they will not be shipped out till they are corrected(nothing major I promise).
The kit will be sold at your LHS for around $329.00. To get the intro price direct from PLH you need to PM me for details. Only serious buyers please.
Here are the specs and weights of the parts out of the box.
The weights were done with a Berkley digital fish scale. Readings <=1oz are those that the scale would not register.
Wing span 78in
Fuse 70in
Weight 14-16lbs
Right wing panel 1lb 3oz
Left wing panel 1lb 3.5oz
Fuse 3lbs
Right horizontal stab with elevator and hinges <=1oz
Left " " " " "" """ """ """ """ """" """ """ <=1oz
Landing gear 12oz
Hardware still in bag, wheels,axles,rods,tank,screws,rod ends,etc. 1lb 1oz
Cowl <=1oz
Wing tube 6oz
Carbon Tail tubes <=1oz
Pics of actual kit. :D
