I've been flying R/C Airplanes for 20+ years, but I'm brand new to R/C Boats. I'd like to know some of the best online retailers of R/C Boats and Supplies. Please point me in the right direction so I can spend some money.

I buy my kits primarily from Tower- Midwest kits are very good first time boat projects with a range of interesting subjects- Dumas kits also with a good range of subjects can be slightly more challenging but should be manageble if you have built kit planes in the past. :)

I already know about the big RC retailers. I'm looking for the small specialty websites that deal only with RC boating. I see myself leaning more towards scale models. I'm not very interested in speedboats or sail.

You may want to try Blue Jacket Ship Crafters www.bluejacketinc.com
1-800-448-5567 160 East Main Street Searsport, Maine 04974 They have a lot of kits, Ship Fittings, Birch, Plywood, Basswood Strips, Decking, Stripwood and sheetwood in bassswood and mahogany. Just received their new catalog for 2006 and it was very impressive to me as a scratch builder of classic model and r/c boats.
I don't know where you are located in Pa. but I am located in Abington, Pa. I have bought ship fittings from them and they come highly recommended from my supplier of
r/c motors and accesories from someone else that I ofter travel to see and talk with. Another supplier of r/c boats and accessories is M.A.C.K. Products in West Long Branch New Jersey. He has boats both r/c and non and a lot of accessories and also makes parts for boats in his machine shop. PLEASE LOOK UP BOTH IN THEIR WEB SITE.
