Still time b4 summer hydroplane project

I have a used ABS hydro hull that I picked up at a boat show but I won't have time to finish it. Perfect for experimenters, looks like they ran 12 cells in it. Stuffing box installed but only the hull and hatch included. Will need a canopy for the front. I had bought a 40 size plane canopy that was going to fit with some slight trimming but lost it in the move. 24" Length 12.5" Wide

Was hydro use for gas or electric?

hull is sound but it does have existing mounting holes for electric motor mount. I had planned on using a setup from hobby-lobby.com that fit perfectly. Chris

I have gotten several questions about the manufacturer and the truth is I don't know. I picked the hull up at a local show as you see it. It was used when I bought it so I don't have any other parts than what you see. I do know that most of the motor mounts and parts from www.hobby-lobby.com will fit and gives you several different options as far as set up. The canopy I had made for it was lost in my recent move but it was just a sport canopy from a .40 size plane. I just cut it to fit and worked well. Would be a cheap investment for someone who wanted to do a little creative building b4 spring. Any other questions please ask. Chris
