RC UFO!!!

Hey folks. here is a new kind of "bird":http://www.americanantigravity.com/lifter4-outdoor.html

check it out! i duno if any one on here has tryed this out or not but it would be cool to have a real RC "UFO"! here is a link to a RC one that uses helim to counter the weight of the high volt power transformer and the raido stuff: http://bel.150m.com/exp04.htm It would need a batery say 12 volt (i dont know all about that stuff) and a light weght hv transformer that could be run on an esc. these things creat thrust without expelling mass. its kinda weard. im in the prosses of testing one of my own right now. ill have updates when i get it flying. if any body knows about hv stuff, and what baterys could be used, and could it be varyed with an esc and could it be light enugh to put on a big lifter with out the baloons to help out.
any idias would be cool
more soon...

Hello,

you might want to check out the lifter yahoo group. Thousands of posts over many years, quite interesting.
However, although it works, for the time nobody knows why, and the whole thing is still far away from any practical
use. I, personally, would not want to fly a model that kills you instantly when beeing touched. Recently, another, more conventional layout caught my attention, see
http://www.gfsprojects.co.uk/index.html

Thats pretty cool. I have donated to the Searl Guys as the Searl affect is another one that has always interested.

All scientific breakethrough start as an "Unkown Force" not say all unkown forces become a breakthrough.

Honestly I have not ready anything that rules out this being a intereaction with the Geomagnetic feild wich seems most plausable. Very interesting.

Guns I like your link I know exactly how this flys. Have you ever held a peice of paper and blow air from you mouth parrallel to the paper but only on the top side. The peice of paper will lift up into the air. The high speed air on top creates low pressure witch in turn creates a pressure difference and then LIFT!

Im totaly building a model of one this it is so easy especialy with the picture of a working on.

what do you mean "bite"? it does not kill you? I thought that it would kill ya if you touch it. I have not been able to finish mine yt, but i hope to soon. Then i will make a big one and put a radio on it with horizontal thrusters for the forward thrust and virtical ones for ailirons and elevator.
