Downloading G3 planes from sites

I know that this topic should be else where, but I have tried to download these helis from defferent sites and they are like a [raptor30v2.zip ]
I download this and extract the file, but I put these in my planes directory, but I can't get it to work.
My software G3 keeps displying can not find that airplne load from the GreatPlanes DVD set.

Has anyone been able to get these downloadable plans-helis to work? I am going right my the directions and no success.

Just a wild guess ...

Visited Tower Hobbies and looked at the heli models for G3 and the Raptor is not listed. Most of the Add-on disk models (disks 1 - 4 at least) say that the heli models must be used with G2 software. Only disk 5 is advertised as G3 compatible.

I'm assuming the software needs the base heli model to operate correctly and since G3 doesn't have a Raptor model, it probably doesn't know what to do with the data. So all I can say is you will either need to find a G3 compatible Raptor model or revert back to G2.

the raptors are available for g3 in one of the addon packs (the paid for one :( )

Great question I had the same problem and even with the Add-on w Raptors i could not get those to work. If you find a solution please post it.
