I was making some scoring sheets for our next Aeromusicals competition to be held later this spring. I thought I'll share these with You so nobody has to re-invent the wheel.

There are two versions, the other one with the current criteria as in January 2006 version of the sporting code. The other one including the changes that have been proposed and are on the agenda of the next CIAM plenary meeting.

Both are available in english and in finnish (that probably won't help You much ;-) Also there is a pdf for easy viewing/printing and the original powerpoint that can be used if You need to make modifications or want to translate it to Your own language.

By the way, these are loosely based on the German score sheet found here:

These are no "official" documents and I take no responsibility for errors so please check them out before using. Other than that, please use these as You see fit.

I is not my intend to criticize the FAI, but somebody there got the scoring pretty much messed up. Here is the link to the scoresheet of AeroMusicals, as used at the German Indoor Aerobatics Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005 (based on Guy Revels suggestions, or F6B):

Well it's a good thing I posted these here. Do You think that's a mistake or intentional change compared to the german rules?
AeroMusicals are judged for flying style, artistic quality, and overall performance, in marks of 0.5 increments between 10 and 0 by each of the judges for the overall flight.
Jurgen, like You said the current sporting code differs from the rules You used in 2003-2005. How about the one including the proposed changes, is that in line with what You are going to be using this year in the German Championships? It would be great if we all could play with the same rules.

Well, let's just say, that after 2006 we are hopefully back on the same track. ;)

In 2005, France used the FAI F3P-A schedule and a national Freestyle schedule (2.5 minutes), while the Czech Republik and the Netherlands used the "German version".

Let's hope so :)

Here's a third version with the criteria from the current sporting code but the weighting as in Jurgens german score sheet from 2003-2005.

Now if we just could decide on which one of the three to use in our event... ;)

Hi Kimmo,

Well, if you use the latest version with the proposed changes for 2006, you should be on the right track (as the proposed changes are based on practical experience gained in the last three years):
