Ive been trying the patterns in my local gym. Holy *!@@!@@!! it is sooo hard to make it look like the europeans do, three to five feet off the ground on the horizontal and nothing rushed. Not to mention the shape and size of it all. Ive been flying and designing in the pattern/ FAI stuff for years (Elan, Elite, Ariel, etc.) and this stuff is harder IMO. I'm psyched that we have this new forum. Thanks to all that have made it happen!

Well, just keep on practicing....it is really a matter of practice, a good light model is also essential..

Keep on going..

I really like the original Knuffel. The new one is very cool too. The Smove is my favorite for learning the patterns because it flys very light. All three are available from www.slowflyworld.com . The Radix is really good too. I dont see alot of people talking about it but it is very predictable and smooth. I am having really good luck with a new design by Erik Johannson called the Elite. It is kinda like the monoplane that Benoit Paysant flies and maybe a bit like the Knuffel. Hope this helps!
