Jet noise - the sound of freedom

In thrust we trust

speaking scientifically, jets are primarily fuel to noise converters

I thrust we trust i love it!

I Watched a chap fly a turbine jet ( i think its turbine or could be pulse thrust or something)

he Was flying around and ill be honest i thought this was goin flat out!

Then he said to his co pilot im going to crank it up ready? WHAT? IS HE MAD?

So he did every now and again i would see i red blur followed by a boomin sound!

The poor chap was sweating with pressure from head to toe when he landed he had the biggest smile in the world!

ROCK ON TURBINES!

Turbine RC is only a dream to me now. Always wanted to fly a real jet...a bigger reality than flying an RC. But I'm sure neither will ever happen :(

hey man you don't have to say never, if you save up your money you can afford a turbine yo. like henry ford said "if you think you can or you think you can't, you're right" !!!

Or just make a friend with a jet:p.
And when he gets it up in the air you take over for a second, Then give it back.
Thats how we do here.

lol, yup with a turbine it only takes a second... then better get the fire extinguisher ...

dude I used to make spudguns all the time! I like to use "aim-n-flame" type lighters for ignition. then it's just like you're shooting a gun, click - boom!!!

LOL I use peizo electric crystals or stun guns.
With the piezo it clicks and boom like a real gun, but with the stun gun, you get a way better rate of combustion for more power.
Yeah aim-n-flame is out these days I havent seen anyone with one on their gun in a long time.
