Anyone know where I can get silicon hook-up wire for long servo runs in 3m gliders? I got some from Muller a while back but there must be something that's equally good here in OZ...the high-strand count, high-current flexible stuff that's more durable than HiTec servo wire.
regards,
Chris.

Chris,
From what I remember DickSmith has 512 strand wire or similar, though it may be a little heavy for your uses. Primarily they used to sell it for multimeter leads.

Chris,
A lot of the jet guys use this wire. Maybe giving these guys a try is worthwhile - have a look thru one of the local rags for a supplier. My last lot I sourced from Europe and I'm just about out.

The twisted silicon wire used to be available from Gliders Australia. I'm not sure what they are doing these days. We used Graupner wire from Modelflight on our last glider and it worked well. It is like havey duty JR wire.

Thanks guys,
Rick; good link! I'll give Peter a bell. The Aeronaut stuff looks spot on!
I'm repairing an Ellipse 4 wing (result of Shakespearean Launch Tragedy)
and that's exactly the wire I need for hungry DS368s.
regards,
Chris.
