Flying In the Slopes of Fremont...and much more...

After a Car trip from LA to Fremont ...(see pictures) in a motel in Santa Maria...
I received an email from John Vargas that lives in Fremont extending the invitation he made to me while he was in Brasil and spend some time with me and Cebola, to stay over his place in Fremont and go flying with him...

So I did... Regardez les fotos de la voyage...

Well... Finally I arrived in Fremont... and John was waiting for me... man... I had a fantastic time... as a matter of fact, it was the best time I had in the USA in this trip...

John Vargas is a Californian ... his Grand Dad was Portuguese and was a Balleeiro (Whaler) in 1890´s... his Grand Moter was Irish...what a mixture huh?...

Well... he is a Red Headed Big Kid in his forties... Smilling all the time, and happy with everthing... impossible to get sad... a real dose of positive energy...to anybody that approaches him...

He received me and my Wife in his house with his lovely familly... After having a fantastic time at his place, we went flying...

Cebola you really missed it.... what a fantastic day...

I'm delighted to hear that you had a nice time on your visit to the East Bay. Next time you come, we'll fly all day (like we did on Sunday) and you'll have even more fun -- there were at least ten cars parked at Del Valle and at one point there were maybe eight planes in the air!!

I know you had a good time in the East Bay, but I'm sure you'll have an even better time in Maui. If you forget to call Brian Courtice, I will hit you over the head with my Hobie Hawk fuse!!! :eek:
