I need an external logic level to RS232 converter for a charger I have. Hovever I allready have the cable for my Hyperion E-meter and I figure if I knew the pinout for this meter I could use the cable I allready have. Can anyone help me out?

Regards
Lars

"I need an external logic level to RS232 converter"

That's easy: MAX232CPE

"Hovever I allready have the cable for my Hyperion E-meter and I figure if I knew the pinout for this meter I could use the cable I allready have."

Not so easy, since I don't have a Hyperion E-meter.

Hi,

I'm new to the thread, but have an answer for you.
Check out this web site - these guys have the thing your looking for.

RoboMicro Web Site (http://www.robomicro.co.uk)

Their RS232<>Logic convertor takes logic level Tx/Rx data and converts it up/down to RS232 signal levels.

I have used this part and it works very well. It even has three LED's to let you know when the Tx/Rx of data occurs.

Hope it helps
