My Artimus keeps bending the elevator pushrod on aggressive launches. I've had to land it inverted twice because of no "up" movement after the rod bends at the bell crank. Once, it just took a lot of up stick to avoid going strait in. If you were at the SLNT TNT, you probably saw this happen to me.
The first time it (I thought) was due to changing the control pushrod, as the original was too stiff (curved with a bend I could not remove) and caused binding. Then I went back to the original rod and ditto, twice. A hard zooming launch bends the rod. I'm now flying the plane conservatively during the zoom, but feel it's a shame to have to hold back on such a nice plane. :(
Anyone else have this kind of problem with the Artimus? If so, what have you done about it?
