Got this one from Rick a few weeks ago. Some of you may have seen these pics in another forum. Just thought I would post them here for us locals! ;) Everyone likes to look at pictures! :) Especially me.

Pretty plane!
You "need" a real wood prop, or at least to paint and wood-grain a prop for photo sessions.
The motor mount with right-thrust (and I assume also down-) adjustment is nice, but it looks rather heavy.
Could see the difference between the outside beautiful "varnish" color and the inside bare balsa. Is that a paint-on or stick-on "varnish"?

I agree, a wood prop would look much nicer! Actually didn't occur to me to do that. :o
There is also downthrust. In one of the photos you can see I shimmed the motor stick at the back pivot bolt. It is actually light in weight. I needed any I could get to get the CG correct. I'm using a 1320 TP 3cell batt. I thought I would have to add nose weight, but I didn't.
Covering is unknown brand of shrink covering....no "paint on" that I'm aware of.

Very nice looking plane. I have that same motor gear combo on my slow stick and have really enjoyed it.

Nice looking, old-school kind of plane. Looking forward to a flight report. I'll bet she is a sweet flyer.
I got distracted by the awesome photo quality. That is amazing depth of focus on such macro looking photos. Kudos on the camera work.
