Hey Silentflight,
I would be happy to share shipping cost but doesn't seem like xmodels have much to offer. A friend recently bought a mini blade from the states and none of us are very impressed with its strength or build. If you are thinkiing about importing from any other supplier let me know and I will see what they have on offer and what we can work out.

Hi Silentflight,
I got a Mini Blade (standard) from SoaringUSA. All up delivered was $420. Took 6 days. I've grown to love flying it. It absolutely hammers with a bit of ballast (5 2/3 aaa cells fit nicely in the tube) at 67g. 2 HS-125s ailerons and 1 HS85MG elevator.
It makes a screaming whistle that turns heads when you roll it :)

The idea of sharing costs for freight is right but Xmodels don't make the plane I want (currently); if anyone wants to get a Spider from Mibomodelli I'd be in on that...the plane is 227euro but the freight is 140euro!
regards,
Chris.

Just a heads up Mibo only ship to the airport - you then have to clear it though customs (and pay for all the thanks for coming fees +GST on the plane and postage !!) - unlike postal or fedex where it will come through unscathed if under $1000. And mibo don't have any stock currently - but there are alternatives - like soaringusa or Esprit model in the US where it should come through ok. If they can get it in a box under 56" it should be ~$50us to ship via USPS.
Splitting shipping across a few models is definetly the way to go.
cheers, Shawn

Hey Dr FRAGNASTY that's good to hear, sadly the version I'm After Is the one peice wing with the flaps, so shipping slightly dearer than 420,and it comes via fedex so no other costs, thanks for the heads up tho shawn
