Green Mountain Slope Flying

Well, we hiked up the power line cut on Green mountain Sunday and flew from the cliff as Dave (GliderGider) suggested. It was a great time! I made a small video of the afternoon!

So what happened to the plane stuck on the power line frame? Or are you just a really good photographer and captured the pic right as it collided?

It was a near miss... We were trying to get as close to the camera as possible... Great fun...

Cool....a PicoJet sloper! I've got a new one still in the box waiting to become a sloper. How do you like it? Looks like a good sloper to me...

Great video and glad to see you guys out on the slope.

You are going to need a backup ship soon. Although that jet flys great, the slope tends to be rough, and if its not the slope, the "accidental" contact with your buddy's airplane will cause damage too.

This weekend has possibilities for light slopers. Hope to see you out there.

It flys great. I have nothing to measure it to since that was my first time ever slopiing. The wind was ripping and it performed well. I have no balast in it, all I have is a 4 AA battery holder with 4 2500 mah NIMH. I have a hard time putting parasite weight onto aircrafts. It took us three trys to get it down, glides great. I just covered a new razor that I got at RC Hobbies for 16 dollars. It will be my number 2 aircraft. Mrbisset is going to slope some Gremlins and a Microjet.

I got my PicoJet at RC Hobbies for $18 and a MicroJet for $15. Planning to eventually power the Micro, but the Pico was bought to slope!
