Slope race In Long Beach California... a report...

Today I went to Long Beach (south of La) Bluff Park... to see a slope race promoted by the Southern California Slope Racing Club...

There I met some fine Gentlemen that received me with open arms...

Warren Dane, Bill Del Hagen and Warren Wolfe...(and all their fellows budies) great guys "...keep up the good work" guys... :)

I had a fantastic time...

The Pilon race is called Man to Man race and it goes like that: 3 pilots launch and go racing between two pilons , the one who completes 8 laps first wins...

Well... lets see some of the pictures...

And I hope some one give us the name of the great WINNER of this racing day...

Guga -- I am SO HAPPY to hear that you are having a great time in California.

I am only sad that you couldn't fit Cebola and Leonardo in your suitcase when you flew to USA :p

I hope we can show you as nice a time here in NorCal as you have abviously had in SoCal.

Guess what...
I´m in Sta Cruz very close to John´s in Fremont, tomorrow Thursday I´m going to see him...
I´ll say hi for you to Him ok ... ;)
He invited me over to have a Churrasco with Caipirinha... :D just kidding...

...But we will post some pics for you to see of Guga flying in NorCal. Friday, we will try to go to Pacifica (a coastal area just south of San Francisco).

If there is no slope lift, I will ask Guga to make caipirinhas and I will make the barbecue this time ;)

I miss you and Leonardo -- why not come up here and visit this summer. You can stay at my house and I can show you how to fly a glider :p :p
