Hello,
Anyone ever replace all three servo gears in the Mini-z with the aluminum ones?
If so, did they subsequent damage occur to other parts of the stearing assembly?
regards,

Making the #1 gear alloy, can cause the #2 to break, making the first 2 alloy the 3rd to break etc... making all 3 alloy, can cause the tie rod to break, but believe it or not, some have broken the first ALLOY gear before the plastic tie rod... the first gear is realy 2 pieces... soldered together in their case the joint broke, super glue and or resoldering it worked fine.. so its unintentionaly designed to break on impact ;) If it didnt break the tie rod might break next... but by this point you have to hit a wall ReALY hard with no body on the car... if your going super fast, it might break, and if an alloy tie rod is used the knuckles might break ;) evntualy getting to the rims breaking.. and alloy rims actualy bend instead of break so it will just get wobbly.
