Hello,
I taught myself to fly about a year ago using mode 4. Ailerons/Throttle on left and rudder/stab on right. For some reason this is a lot more comfortable for me because it allows me to have both main controls on different sticks which sems like its a bit more logical... If I can use both hands to do the main controls then my precision is more spread out. Whereas with the aileron and elevator on the right stick, would lead to a more cramped one had, with the left hand only using the throttle, and rudder as well.
For my flying wing, I find that having aileron on the left and elevator on the right is perfect becauses those are the ONLY controls! And why not use both hands.
I was talking with a person the other day in chat, he obviously knew a lot more then I do about flying but for some reason I didn't see his logic in saying why mode 4 is not good. I don't really want to fly heli any time soon, and I dont have many people asking me to fly thier planes as I dont really fly with other people much...
Can someone please tell me why I should switch over to mode 2 or 1 and give me practical and logical reasons.
Likewise, if the mode is simply a personal liking, then let me know that flying mode 4 isn't something I need to change. Besides, it has a name so I dont see why I cant fly it ^^
