Clearview (decent and cheap). Preflight (ugh) FMS (free!) X-Plane (cool and inexpensive) RealFlight G3 DEMO (can be made to work with controller but limited planes/runways) etc. And there are a host of other not-so-great ones. Google them.

Flight experience now 45 years. F/F,C.L./ and R/C for the past 30 years. Also am a multi-engine lic. pilot. Don't fly the real ones any more and live in a state where you have cold and snow for six months of the year. Interested in a sim. Have two Futaba T6XA's. Which sim can I buy and use a usb cord from the trans to my pc? Find a ton of sim's for sale on e-bay. Assume most are out of date. Clearview is mentioned as good. Can I use a usb with this?
Thanks.

Yes USB is fine. I think ClearView was designed for USB, u can also use PIC Cable and USB joypads.
Try it out, i think its ACE.

Can the controller for Realflight Classic that doesn't work on my new pc(Windows XP Service Pack 2) be used with any of these?

The program doesn't work. I tried the latest update( for Windows 2000) as Realflight suggested but it didn't help. Classic was developed for 95 & 98 and they have no intention of updating it. I spent a fair amount to get it and I have no intention of spending another cent with Realflight. I wouldn't mind if it was inexpensive but I feel cheated. I went through the knowledge base and tried many things over many months with no luck. I wonder if Service Pack 2 is the problem.

Did you try XP's compatibility mode?

That sucks Al M, i dont blame you for not wanting to spend even more money on it.
Well if u still cant get it to work i dont know if ur TX will work on any of the other sims, I would try ClearView, its free to download and try so u have nothing to lose.
