I've heard this before. I haven't found the indention's. Of course...my grips are pretty worn out and have been since I bought the Stryker used.

About dead center of each grip, facing down and up inside of the top of the grip are small circular indentations about 1/8" deep.
I read that some of the early Strykers did not have the marks. In that case you would be fine to cg around center of the grips, starting on the forward 1/3, and move back a little at a time.
Double the elevon size out of blucore sure makes it more fun for me to fly.
Mine is pretty light and uses 2cells 2100mAh. Can only do about 60mph, but will go vert with good power. Really slows down nice, and will fly backwards at high alpha into a light breeze. Mine is a no paint 20 buck fuse hack that I bought for a gift motor, a Himax 2815-2000. I think I'm running a 7x4 E APC.
I think I would like it better with the extra thrust of a bigger prop on an outrunner, and a lighter pack.

Looking at the bottom of the fuse (if you have a newer fuse) there are a couple round indents in the top of the fingerholds, this is where you should set the CG. If you have an older fuse or just can't seem to find the indents for whatever reason, measure 155mm from the TE of the fuse at the C/L. This is also the CG.

What do you mean by backwards?

What do you mean by backwards?
Just cut the power and pull the nose up till the forward airspeed stops, add power to maintain altitude, pull up more on the nose to move backwards. All done into the wind, and the wind has to be pretty steady.
