Around the house I'm using a few cans of expanding foam, it's good stuff but doesn't go very far on one can alone -- and it's expensive!
Anyone know where you can get a dozen cans at a time at a /good/ price?

I saw a cheap brand at Bunnings for $6 a can but how well does it work?
May need twice as many to do the same job.

Mark,
Quite indeed. I did recently see an auction on eBay for about 12~20 cans at a good price of Bostik expanding foam - beating myself for not picking that up at the time *sigh*

You can get 2 part expanding foam from your local fiber glass supplier. But use with caution, you could fill your house with this stuff.

Glenn, mmmm... wonder if it tastes like popcorn (movie reference ;) )
The trouble with 2part foam is that it'd be a little tricky to deliver it into the spaces that I have to fill.

I was in a different hardware store yesterday, managed to find some Bostik expanding foam for $9 (standard spray-can size) or $13 (75% larger can).
Wonder if I can contact a Bostik supplier and just order it by the box (probably $4/can).

Paul, Would this stuff suit your needs?

Interesting stuff - too bad its work time is about 17 seconds after mixing, sounds like it needs to be done with a proper foam-mixer/injector system?
