Anybody Who has a New Hotwire try this set-up, it works great and can be made with 1-1/2 EPS, EPP Blue or Pink Foam.
Any questions just ask...

Printable versions not all to scale.
1. Cut a cardboard template to match the outside dimensions laid out in the drawing.
2. Trace this template onto your foam wing panel
3. Cut out paper airfoil templates, They need to be sized to the 310mm on the Root, 160mm on the tip and once the airfoil is cut-out and transferred to 1/16 plywood via spray77, Cut plywood out.
4. spray 3M77 on both the airfoil template and the foam . Laying on a flat surface, 1/16 ahead of your leading edge and flush with the bottom.
(the airfoil templates will be past yourt foam core, but don't worry, if it isn't you will under cut the foam at the trailing edge.-47MM over at the tip, 30 MM over at the root.
5. cut a piece of foam to lift your core off of the table so your bow does not drag on the table. Preferably the exact width of your core.
6. put a brick or weight on your core so it does not move, you will not be able to hold it.
7. with the bow at 90degrees and off, rest it on the templates at the leading edge(remember the 1/16th you left hanging out).
8. turn your bow on and start to lightly pull the bow. You will have to travel 2x faster at the root so the bow exits the trailing edge at the root and the tip at the same time.
9. I usually cut the bottom 1.5" from the leading edge last or sand it in for safety purposes.
This is your first cut, it will not be perfect. If you stop on one side of the template or another it will leave a line. Consistent pulls are wise but the wings can be sanded and will still fly.
Make sure you make a Right, and a left wing panel.
Feel free to ask me any questions, these are not perfect, but for the RC world......They will fly.
