:eek: :eek: I wish i could get hold of bldc motors like that, i want ones that can do up to 50krpm, both sensored and sensorless, as well as controllers for them that only needs two wires for running.

I only have 7 motors total in my bldc collection, and 3 of them run on their original controllers while 2 of the others have no controller (one is a 4phase one) and one that blew the position sensor with a small diy driver (2phase one) and one is from a 2.5" hdd that blew the driver and have a busted centertap connection, and the last one is a modified fdd motor running off the driver from a cd-rom.

Boy if i had that many stators for fun,i'd make a motor sooo long....
My collection is more of the scraps you guys would leave at the back of the drawer.

How many bloody computers have you recked to get that many CDRs guys :eek: .

Those cheap motors are coming fast and guess in few years even quality BL motors can be more affordable to everyone...
Some, OTOH like to DIY everything...

If you could tell me what machines the motors you want are found in I maybe able to get some for you. What do you want them for?

I just collect them, mostly to just have them but i also like starting them up.

They are found in printers. The ones i want to get most is high rev ones, like 20.000+ rpm, but 10-15krpm ones is welcome too. Units like that is found in laser printers.

Tho i have got a third unit which is a high speed one, creates draft feelable almost half a meter away.

I still want more and i hope for an answer from the funflyer dude.
