Hi There,

I have a new T Rex and was wondering if there are any gurus on this great heli in Australia to help us set it up and maybe even 3D it.

Please PM me as I still have my trainer wheels on.

I'm certainly no guru, but have a couple of Trexs and might be a little further up the learning curve than you are. Where bouts in Sydney? I am in Dundas (between Carlingford and Parramatta)

There is one guy at IMAC who has really got the CCPM Trex working perfectly, flying the same routines as with his .90 Raptors. Pirouette flips, low inverted, rolls the whole lot. But only in very little wind though of course.

The trick seems to be like with all RC stuff good quality servos.

Mavrik,

I have no TRex experience but i'm an electric heli nutter. I fly a Logo 14 and can offer you any assistance you need.

Im a beginner to flyinh helis, but i can help interms of setting up the heli and such. You have the yellow 450XL CCPM i assume. Its a great heli with some good quality. When you get to mounting the canopy, just note that the problem of the servo arms hitting the canopy is a known problem for taller servos like the hitec HS56 if you use the stock frame.

If you are after parts or upgrades, have a look at

www.eflypower.com
and click on "online shop" on the bottom left

or http://shop.eflypower.com

Its got great pricing on trex parts, and minimum delivery is $4 AUD parcel post 200g.
