how to run in my engine

i have a water-cooled .46 asp engine and i dont know how to run it in
properly, it runs on 10% nitro fuel. it is for a rc tunnel hull. i am
new to this hobby and have no experience

A few questions first:

1. Does the motor's manual include break-in instructions?
2. Do you have access to a shallow body of water to run the boat at low
speeds?
3. Has the motor ever been started before?
