Hi,

This is a balancing connector from an Apex 2200 3S pack. The pin spacing is 2mm. Any ideas who makes it? JST tech support did not recognize it as theirs.

It does look like a pc floppy drive power connector. Get yourself an old / dead pc power supply if you want another socket. Floppy drive power connectors do not have the locking tab as shown on your picture but I do not think that will be a problem as they are usually a good tight fit anyway.

If you want the other end with the pins, unsolder one from a dead floppy drive.

www.maplin.co.uk would probably have them too.

I am a computer technician - so if you want to try some floppy connectors, I can send you as many as you want. Free!

For info: the pin spacing on a floppy drive connector is approximatly 2.5mm

Is it 2mm or 2.54mm (i.e. 0.1 Inch) ?
