I fly R/C gliders so I have a ton of R/C equipment and experience but know next to nothing about boats. Can somebody recommend a pre-built, little (inexpensive) R/C boat to use in my swimming pool? I don't want one so fast that it can't turn around but not so slow as to be boring. How about a fire boat that squirts water?
Thanks

Zig zag racers, or Reef racers are the most popular zip around the pool/pond boats.

Not quite sure how much $ you mean by inexpensive but take a look at:

About $109 and it includes almost about everthing to run it (includes a working fire monitor).

I second the tugboat. With a little creativity, tugboats can be infinitely amusing. I once towed myself about 300' in a canoe using my tugboat. Damn that was funny...
