I was fooling around in my shop this afternoon and whipped up this little 20mm backplate type mount.Obviously not quite finished, but the weight should be low,and should work out on another one of my "ebay foamies"
6 stator poles,8 magnet poles and will wind with 30 guage wire.Looking for low amps and fair rpm.

Hope you have better luck than i ,,it kept losing sync with the esc, rewound it twice witth different gauge wire as well as trying lrk, still the same result gets up to half throttle and craps out. :o double checked everything inc' mags.

Here is a link to a vid of one of my 6 tooth stator motors. The one I am working on now is the fourth I have built, all with good success. They power everything from a tigermoth,to an "ebay foamy" to small wings. My best turns 23400 rpm with a 4X4 prop on 2 cells @ about 6 amps static.

Whew!that was last summer,I think it was a 15 turn single wind,26g.The other one I use is a 12 turn double 28 g. This new one will be 25-30 turns 30g. After seeing that big stator from the printer in that other thread,I NEED ONE for my 93 inch AP wing!!!

Try out a www.coolesc.com controller. Many story of some serious hyperwound motors being able to run on these while others would not.
