Help, I just bought Reflex that comes with the Walkera 35/36 connector. My transmitter is a Walkera 4 channel that comes with the Dragonfly #4. I emailed Reflex prior to purchasing and they said my transmitter would work with this connector. The program runs but says to "Switch transmitter on". I want to try this program. Can I fix this? I have emailed Reflex help again but have not heard back from them. Thay are probably gone for the weekend.

Getting Reflex to work with your transmitter can be problematic at times  . Having said that, if you stick with it and can get your transmitter working, you'll be rewarded with the most realistic flight sim on the market, IMHO (I own Reflex XTR, AeroFly Pro Delux, RealFlight G2, and use FMS, and SSS).

When I received the infamous "switch on transmitter" message it was invariably a problem with the interface cable. Apparently, what you get from a Reflex cable accessory and what you need to make it work is a hit-and-miss situation. There is quality control problem in the chain with some of the cables which means that you will need to validate that your cable is pinned out properly.

Reference this Reflex Walkera tech note (http://www.reflex-sim.dyndns.org/reflex-sim/shop/catalog/faqdesk_index.php?faqPath=15_35_45_95) and test your cable to ensure it complies.

If the problem persist, maybe Wolfgang (aka WSN) can help you out; he was very helpful with my problems.

Andy,

How does Reflex compare to ClearView? Didnt notice it in your list above. Your experience with the above mentioned would provide valuable feedback to the members of this forum. If you have the time, download the demo and give it a go.

PS. When you goto controller setup, you can map your keyboard F1 thru F4 keys for 'idle-up' and 'throttle-hold' for helis or 'flaps' and 'gear' for planes.

The above link dumps me onto the reflex webpage with a diagram of the Walkera connector. Do I need to take the connector apart and verify? If so. how do I get the casing apart to look inside and verify the wiring?

Thanks, Dan
